Francesco Battaglia is an East Coast-based Filmmaker known for his passion, creativity, and collaborative nature. As an established member and supporter of the Film Community in Philadelphia, PA, Francesco has worked with several masters of their craft as he has picked their teachings to hone his own skills.

Growing up in Marlton, NJ, Francesco first fell in love with film when he spent his teenage years working the concession stand at the local movie theater. After getting his start on low-budget independent and student films, Francesco has since worked in all stages on production on sets of all sizes. Using these experiences, he attempts to write stories with fresh ideas while also creating environments on set that allow the cast and crew to thrive creatively and emotionally.

Through his filmmaking, Francesco tries to merge entertainment and art in stories that also transcend genre. His work has won several awards, including his supernatural thriller (CREATURE OF THE NIGHT) placing in the 2023 Austin Film Festival's Screenplay Competition.

Coming from an Italian-American family where stories around the table helped create important bonds, Francesco aims to connect people, whether through thrills, drama, or laughter. Perhaps even all of them at once!
